Sketchbook on iPad (March 2019)
Check out that adductor pollicis! The hands are one of my favourite things to draw. You can easily recognize someone by their face, but the hands are unique to each person as well. I know mine like how people know their own faces by every wrinkle, line, and little quirk. Like Joey with his hand twin from Friends, he understands the beauty of hands. Too bad it didn’t work out for him. 🤲
Here’s some inspiration from SBN if you are having an artist block. Honestly, just grab a pencil or pen and be your own model.
Until the next post. ☕️
Tackling the shoulders once again. The human body never ceases to amaze me with its complexity. The skeletal muscle unit for my anatomy course is going to be the death of me. Comment if you agree. 😆
My schedule is getting more and more packed. I haven’t been drawing constantly for the past few days, yikes. I am thinking of giving myself a goal of 50 drawings. There. I said it. It’s official. 48 drawings left to go!! 🤟
This was my first anatomical drawing of this “series”. We have access to this amazing bank of photographs for my anatomy course. I used it to jump start my next project. My mom inspired me to do this. She loves to draw, and she recently made it her goal to draw everyday, no matter how big the drawing or what she was drawing. The fact that she can keep her words, even though she is a very busy woman, motivated me to draw not everyday, but almost everyday.
Last year, on SBN, I showcased my series on recycling and waste items. I had a lot of fun narrating my story and my intentions with that project. I hope to do something like that this year but keeping it more on theme with my studies. I can’t wait for what’s to come. I hope to make myself proud by the end of the year and to inspire at least one other person. That’s all for now.
